Mr. Bryce Geyer heads the New York office and in this role he is responsible for the management and development of FMV's valuation practice throughout the Northeast.
Having served in the firm's San Francisco office for eight years prior to his promotion and transfer to the East Coast, Mr. Geyer has extensive experience in a broad and diverse range of valuation assignments for purposes that include estate and gift tax, transaction fairness, litigation, as well as corporate and personal income tax. He has valued carried interest, capital interests, common stock, preferred stock, debt instruments, and intangible assets. Mr. Geyer has developed specialized knowledge in the valuation of alternative investment firms and he currently co-manages FMV's Alternative Asset Manager Valuation Group.
Mr. Geyer received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and he is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) of the American Society of Appraisers.
For a number of years, Mr. Geyer has served on the volunteer high school group of his church. He is also a sports enthusiast, active golfer and hockey player.
